As part of a UI/UX enhancement project for Marlowe – a platform that enables users to create and deploy secure smart contracts on Cardano – I was responsible for implementing the new brand identity (developed by another designer) across updated layouts and interface designs. My role focused on refining the site’s visual structure, exploring alternative approaches to iconography, and improving user engagement and navigation. While animated elements were created by a motion designer, I integrated them into the experience—particularly in the “How does Marlowe work?” section – to support clarity and consistency throughout the design.

High Fidelity Designs
After finalizing the low-fidelity wireframes and having the structure approved by the client, the next step was to begin designing high-fidelity mockups in Figma. Prototyping within Figma was especially valuable, as it allowed the client to visualize how animations would function—particularly on more complex sections of the page. It was equally important for the developer to understand how content should animate across different devices to ensure a consistent and responsive user experience.
Mobile High Fidelity Designs
A mobile prototype was also created to ensure that animations – particularly the accordion-style content – functioned smoothly on smaller screens, with a mobile-first approach in mind. This was shared with the client, who was impressed by the capabilities of Figma’s prototyping tools. It helped provide greater transparency, giving the client a clear sense of what to expect from the final build.
